First Birthday as a Missionary

BAGAMANOC | Day 165 |
SEPTEMBER 27, 2014:
It's my birthday and it's a busy day. Haha. We did our responsibilities first before I celebrate later in the evening. We had a District Meeting in the morning and my housemates/district mates sung a birthday song to me. 😅 We did tracting in the afternoon, then around 3pm, we went to the meeting house for the missionary fireside. It's a branch activity and we help some youth prospective missionaries and members. After that, we also did Family History work. It was a great experience and it's my first time as a missionary to experience it.
In the evening we invited San Vicente branch members and some of our investigators to attend our birthday celebration. I celebrated my birthday with them. 😀 Today is also Sis. Hermaine's birthday! We're birth mates. Haha. She's like a sister to me. 😊 I am really thankful to the Lopez Family, especially to Sis. Hermie Lopez. Nanay Lopez prepared and made all the delicious food this evening to celebrate my birthday with her daughter Hermaine. I also contribute and share my part for this evening, my parents sent me money to spend for my birthday and I also thanked them for it. 😊 I asked Nanay Lopez days before if she can make food and if I can celebrate in their house for the double celebration of our birthday. Nanay Lopez happily agreed. I'm really grateful for all her efforts. It feels like she's my mother here in the San Vicente branch. 😊 I'm grateful for this day, to the Lopez Family (especially Nanay Hermie and Hermaine), to all the members and investigator who attends, to my companion and housemates, to my parents, and to Heavenly Father for giving me this wonderful chance to serve for other people. It's really a happy birthday for me. 😃
