MAY 1, 2015:
It's Labor Day today. I appreciate all the people who are working hard for their families in this life. The same goes for missionary work but it is eternal. The work of salvation is timeless. We went to Bulan and along the way, we also cross paths with Sister Sebia and her companion. She gave me the BR of the recently departed missionary. We also met a new investigator family in Salvacion today. They were a referral from our progressing couple investigators.
We had companionship exchanges today with the Matnog Elders. I think this is the last time that Elder Irabon and I will be together for exchanges. There's a high chance that he'll be transferred soon. He's a great missionary. He's the man. Scripture of the day is from the Tagalog Book of Mormon (Page 17 TG). This can be used to teach fasting easily.
MAY 2, 2015:
Our neighbor's radio is really loud every morning. It coincides with study time so it's hard to focus sometimes. But today it didn't bother me. I quite enjoyed it because it's been forever since I've heard one of my favorite bands. It was still a distraction though. 😏
We went back again to the family that I've met yesterday. It was a good day overall again for missionary work. Scripture for the day is Proverbs 3:5-6. It's better to trust our Lord than a man.
