BAGAMANOC | Day 57 to 59 |

JUNE 11, 2014:
We had a good day overall. We had a new investigator in our new area in San Vicente. She is Sis. Laila and she's receptive. Her husband is a member. I hope she'll progress. Bro. Ronie invited us and prepared a buko (coconut) juice with a twist. It has milo (chocolate powder)! It was superb especially when cold. 😀 Bro. Robert is always working on us and he is a great member present. We are also helping him to increase his desire to serve a full-time mission. I really hope he will someday. 🙏 We had 6 lessons today and the Santelices Family invited us for dinner. Sis. Sally Jeane cooked an octopus dish for us. I like it! 😀 We are grateful to them and all the families that gave us food. 😊

JUNE 12, 2014:
Independence Day. I just remembered the big celebration in Kawit, Cavite. The story of Filipinos at that time that was fighting for freedom was kind of like the Mormon pioneers that are fighting for freedom and persecutions in the early days. I have big respect, admiration, and love for both. We played basketball in our morning exercise and nothing much happened for the rest of the day. They had a plan and we waited but got postponed. We had dinner at Ibardaloza Family. I like the fried eggplant. 😊

JUNE 13, 2014:
We had a great day in missionary work. We had 8 lessons including one new investigator (Sis. Melanie) and a new LA that we met (Sis. Chrisaly). Bro. Robert and Dodong worked with us. I also notice that many members here are taking good care of us missionaries. They always invite us to lunch, meriendas, or dinners. We are really lucky that we are assigned here. We are really thankful to the Lopez Family, Interior Family, Candelaria Family, Santelices Family, Ibardaloza Family, Idio Family, Garcia Family, Molina Family, and the other families that invited and gave us free meals. 😊
