 TIWI | Day 15 to 16 |

JANUARY 27, 2015:
We travelled to Tabaco Zone early for the pre-zone training meeting for all the leaders in Tabaco. It was my first time to experience this. It's really different compare with my time in Catanduanes. Our ZLs and STLs prepared a wonderful workshop and we (District Leaders) got an overview of what will happen in the Zone Training.

Zone training today was all about different ways of finding people to teach. One particular way that I really like is through service. Phil 2:7 We also had a fun practice teaching through OYMs. In the last part, Elder Bahinting and I were assigned to E. Decicio and E. Nielsen and they just spoke English all the time. Fortunately, I handled it well and my companion did a good job too. We're becoming more united as time goes by. 😉

It was a memorable Zone Training for Elder Nielsen because this is his last before he goes home soon. I'm glad that I got assigned back in Tabaco Zone to witness this. He had a wonderful farewell testimony. I learned a lot from him as a former companion, trainer, and friend. He's a great leader and a good example to all of us.

with Sensei Nielsen

We had a meaningful and spiritual teaching moment with one of our less active members. We hope that he'll attend church again this Sunday.

JANUARY 28, 2015:
We're back at Tabaco Chapel again and this time we'll conduct our District Meeting here while we're waiting for our turn to be interviewed by President Guanzon. My topic and workshop for today was a mixture of "Teaching pure doctrine" and "How to become a Master Gospel Teacher". It was a good discussion and interaction with my district mates. My DL's message for today is in 2 Cor 4:5. We preached Christ, not ourselves.

During my turn for an interview with Pres. Guanzon, he discussed with me the ways how can our area improve especially our teaching pool. He said that we must tract at least 2 hours every day and work near the chapel. So our future investigators will have an easier way to attend church. It was great advice and we'll apply it to our area. Even though most of the people in our area that were near the chapel are rejectful we'll still do it and do our best.

Tiwi District | Elder Bahinting, Elder Reyes, Elder Nibarger, Elder Feraer

We had productive primetime work. We taught a part member father and he accepted the baptismal invitation goal date. Our LA also worked with us and that's a big step in coming back to church. 😃 We also taught a new family investigator.
